It’s so awesome to be back in Brisbane teaching after a wonderful vacation, I’ve really missed classes and all the familiar faces!
Launch Week was a major success and certainly kept all of us at Dance Masala busy. I’d like to give a big welcome to our wonderful new students, thank you all for making the beginning of term so much fun. It would also be my absolute pleasure to welcome our new Absolute Beginner teacher, Divya Nair!

Launch 2015 Post by Dance Masala: Bollywood Performance Team Brisbane.
We finished the first week with the Pro Team launching BrisAsia Festival in Reddacliff Place in the CBD. We danced and mingled with VIP leaders and participants and then performed for the huge crowd. The highlight of the night was The [fabulous] Bombay Royale!
They are an amazing 11 piece, Bollywood inspired band, who play original music inspired by 1960s and 1970s Bollywood Psyche! They delivered a fantastic, theatrical 1-hour set, while we danced in the crowd with other local, cultural dancers, and some amazing local dancers. This was such a treat for me, especially, as they are one of my favourite bands. If this band is new to you, check them out!
