About Dance Masala’s Adult Courses

Welcome to Dance Masala Bollywood Dance Company adult classes! Here is what you need to know:

Never been to Dance Masala classes before? Beginners is the perfect place to start. This is appropriate if you have done loads of Shaadi dance but never been technically trained.

Do you have prior dance training from another dance academy? Consider trialling Advanced Beginner. Due to our choreographers’ cross-training in Bollywood, Ballet, Classical Indian, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Latin, Indian Folk, Waacking and more – we are proud to follow a technical Method and promote a Bollywood program with a diverse range of movement influences. Please check what course style is being offered and contact us to determine whether your prior experience suits joining higher level classes!

We invite our students to try Intermediate when we feel they are ready. If you are a student who feels ready to level up, please email our team!

Our choreographers have dedicated their lives to crosstraining in many different danceforms, our upper level classes may be doing some of the same beginner techniques, but with a higher level of execution and usually twice as fast! Plus with added floorwork and other techniques! Not sure what this means? Read our Technique Matrix and take a video of you doing the beginner level techniques! Then send it to us via WhatsApp or our contact form. This will help our instructor place you.

Highly Recommend Online & In Person

Attended a term of dance classes in person and then unfortunately covid19 happened. Tried the online classes and simply loved it. The classes were conducted on zoom and detailed tutorials were provided to supplement the class which were very helpful. Highly recommend both the online and in person classes !!

Amazing Bollywood Dance School

Amazing Bollywood dance school with lovely teachers and great choreographies! I’m really impressed how flexible Dance Masala was in offering online classes during COVID restrictions, their classes are really high quality and the team put a lot of effort in ensuring good sound, multiple angles to watch, offering recordings and still keeping it interactive and fun.
